Zoom

 

This menu lets you do manual zooming. They let you zoom in or out on your image or jump directly to certain zoom factors. For instance, to zoom in so that your image is twice normal size, select 2:1.

 

· Out zooms out by a factor of the image size. If the current zoom factor is 3:1 (300%), Zoom Out will make it 2:1 (200%).

· In zooms in by a factor of the image size. If the current zoom factor is 2:1 (200%), Zoom In will make it 3:1 (300%).

· Out (-10%) zooms out by an amount equal to -10 percent of the current zoom percentage. If the current zoom percentage is 200%. Zoom Out (-10%) will make it 180%.

· In (+10%) zooms in by an amount equal to +10 percent of the current zoom percentage. If the current zoom percentage is 200%, Zoom In (+10%) will make it 220%.

 

· 1:8 zooms the image to an eighth of its original size.

· 1:4 zooms the image to a fourth of its original size.

· 1:3 zooms the image to a third of its original size.

· 1:2 zooms the image to half its original size.

· 1:1 zooms the image to its original size.

· 2:1 zooms the image to twice its original size.

· 3:1 zooms the image to three times its original size.

· 4:1 zooms the image to four times its original size.

· 8:1 zooms the image to eight times its original size.

 

· Zoom to brings up the Zoom to dialog that lets you zoom in or out by a specified factor.

· Zoom Off resets the zoom. The Zoom to Fit option determines how the image is zoomed.

· Zoom Lock locks the manual zoom factor. If enabled, a manually set zoom factor will remain active until explicitly disabled with Zoom Off or until the program is terminated. If not enabled, a manually set zoom factor will be reset when a new image is loaded.

 

Note: Arbitrary factor is not available in slideshow mode.
