Hello All
When one is viewing pics and PMView displays the last pic in that directory, is there a flag, being it a notice or sound available? Thanks regards peter |

Hi,
No, there is no such thing. In this case you have to pay attention. Here are some hints: -Press END to see the last image (you can always use File->Recall to get back to the current image). Then you'll remember what the last image is and hopefully notice it when you reach the end. -Look at the file name. When it, for example, wraps from Z to A (or form Z to 0), you'll know that you've passed the end... -Start viewing by pressing HOME. Then remember that image and when you see it again you'll know that you've seen all images once... -Keeping the File Open dialog constantly open may also help quite a bit (look at the FOC window specific menu that has the "Float on top" and two other options). Sometimes it may be useful to combine several of these methods... Unfortunately that's the only help I can give for now. I deal with this by placing a small .gif file in all directorys called 0.gif so that it is displayed as first file (showing a smilie ;-))

Of course, if there is enough interest, I could add a "Wrap" option to the "File->Next/Previous" menu. (When this option is enabled, PMView would work like now. When disabled, there would be an error message if trying to do "File->N/P->Next" after the last image or "File->N/P->Previous" after the last image.)

Thanks Trap77, um, I use souper then decode all binaries, then view and del *.*.
I now look at the filename while running in windowed mode, BTW Peter, I have a more important minor problem, The ZOOM to fit shrinks the pics to fit, nice, except when a pic is smaller it enlargers it. The problem is then at times the spam pic in miles too large and unviewable without pressing "-" then again at times, one still can't see it :-) regards peter |
