I am trying to save Windows BMPs as JPEGs. It will work at first, but after a few saves, the SaveAs dialogue (where it shows the thumbnails) will freeze, and I have to C-A-D and end the task. PMView will then not work at all beyond opening: can't open a file or recall or even show Help:About, until I reboot.
After this began I upgraded from 2.10(?) to 2.13; same problem. I am running Win98 with Object Desktop Control Center and Tabbed LaunchPad; and ICQ. Closing those seemed to make no difference. On the same machine, I have not had this problem in the past; but then, I was running OS/2 at the time |
