QUOTE (Peter) Does this happen regardless of what capture method you use (Instant, delayed, or hotkey) ?
Does this happen regardless of what part you're trying to capture (Window, Window Interior, Screen, or Area of screen) ? Your log above indicates that PMView did not crash, but terminated gracefully. The log is only of value if it is from the run when things went wrong. Please do it again, crash PMView, and let me see the log. Thanks, I tried it again and tried it with capture a Window. PMView just died. The log is below: =========================================== PMView 2000 Mar 26 2002 Windows NT 5.00 Service Pack 2 build 2195 @ 1024x768, 16 bits Started Sun Nov 10 19:48:52 2002 Terminated normally. --- PMView 2000 Mar 26 2002 Windows NT 5.00 Service Pack 2 build 2195 @ 1024x768, 16 bits Started Sat Nov 16 19:14:09 2002 ============================================= |

I am having the same problem the user described. I am running Win2K. It worked this afternoon. Logged off and shutdown the system. Rebooted. Started the same set of applications and now when I try to capture a screen it either hangs (go to task mgr and kill PMView) or PMView just disappears. Downloaded and reinstalled PMview again. And Same thing happens.
Started pmview /log and the log file looks like this: PMView 2000 Mar 26 2002 Windows NT 5.00 Service Pack 2 build 2195 @ 1024x768, 16 bits Started Sun Nov 10 19:48:52 2002 Terminated normally. --- ..... now help............. |
