Hello Peter!

1.) Modifying EXIF data
Yes, not all should be allowed to change but keywords, description, author and copyright (don't know if it's available in EXIF...must look in the docs) should be ok.

If GPS is already stored it should not be changed, unless the user wants to change it.
The other thing is, you may want to ADD this information, because your camera doesn't support it (only very expensive professional cameras have a GPS module), but you have the data (e.g. PDA with GPS module,...).

Actually I have a camera that writes a default Lat/Lon value to EXIF if it hasn't latched on to the satellites.
Being able to easily enter the Lat/Lon from my separate GPS device would be a boon for me.

I currently have to use https://www.colorpilot.com/exif.html which is slow and clunky.

SVG is a vector graphics format. PMView does not support vector formats.

Thanks,
Peter

This is disappointing, as it would be good to be able to open and convert them.
Thanks

PMView currently only supports capture of Windows Screens without scaling (i.e. 100%)

Any chance of that changing in the future?

PMView 64 bit won't install when the install .exe is run from a Windows 10 Standard account as it tries to write to c:/pmview/.
It should prompt for administrator permission.

The crazy forum search won't let me search for a three character literal (e.g. svg, dng, png, !!!)

So apols if this is a double posting.

Does, or will, PmView Pro support svg?

I think this would be very useful

I would really appreciate this feature

Again, I've had to use FastStone image viewer to achieve this

Being able to modify the EXIF datetime the photo was taken for a number of photos at once would be fantastic.
So often I find a camera with the year 2000, or the time one hour out, or just 5 minutes out.
Being able to correct them would be extremely useful.

Until this feature is available I've had to use FastStone Image viewer.

I tried search for

red eye

and got the error

Board Message
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:
One or all of your search keywords were below 4 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please go back and increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords.

I really don't know how I can spell either red or eye with more than three characters !

Perhaps the search configuration could be relaxed

thanx

I think these are great ideas, since these are some of my most frequent actions. I'm using PmView 3.61 for Windows.

1: cropping to exact size would be most useful, especially if it automatically reorientated the dimension dependent or portrait or landscape orientation.
1b. grey would provide a very useful alternative in many cropping circumstances

3: custom resize that is remembered would be much appreciated, especially again if it automatically reorientated the dimension dependent or portrait or landscape orientation.
