QUOTE (Peter @ Dec 5 2005, 09:59 PM) Yes, JPG suppots changing the resolution. I just tried it here, and it works fine. Maybe you accidentally forgot to save the file after changing the resolution? Please try it again and let me know if you still see a problem. Thanks, I have found that if I open an image, Transform -> Resolution and set it to 150, then save the image and close, when I open again, and click Transform -> Resolution its listing 72 dpi again. Am I misunderstanding the Transform Resolution screen and it defaults always to 72 dpi regardless what the images currently is? How can one find out the resolution of an image, there used to be a Show -> image info option which I am no longer seeing. Thank you Ryan |

Peter:
Good day, I was wondering if there is any possibility of being able to print a file name when printing an image? We tend to document a lot of identical looking parts and the file name is the key to the identity of the part. If there were a way to add a box in say the lower left corner which would have the option of the file name, or maybe even the full path and file name that would be a most helpful feature. It could be a small box in the corner, say an 8pt font or something like that with black text. I don't think to lay the text over the image would behelpful as some parts and dark and other light and chosing a font to be visibile would be quite challenging. Thank you for any possibile solutions. Ryan Shawgo |
