After our initial testing with PMView Pro on the new Windows Vista operating system, we have identified an issue with the menu bar controls that will cause PMView Pro to exit with errors. Peter will be working to create a Windows Vista compatible version as soon as possible. If you have tried PMView Pro on Windows Vista and identified other issues, please take a moment to post them here.

To repeat the known issue, simply access the File menu (directly from the main window menu bar) three times.

These issues have been found:

Menu bar causes PMView to crash if the "File" menu is accessed. Workaround: Right click in the main window and use the popup menu instead. It works correctly.

Screen capturing is broken. There is no workaround for this problem.

Both problems have now been fixed. PMView v3.40 will be released within the next two weeks. The screen capturing code has been greatly improved and will finally solve some long lasting issues that a few users have experienced.

Thanks,
Peter
