Has anyone else experienced a freeze when trying to exit a slideshow? Each and every time I run a slidwhow PMV-Pro freezes and won't close. I can do nothing other than close down the full program and restart it.

Hi, I share my work machine with another guy who decided to buy the PMVPro program and remove my older graphics program so I'm stuck using it.

It's a nice program but I keep running into freezing problems. I work for a news service and receive hundreds of photos each day via a email drop box. It's my job to view and sort them into different categories/directories for use by other folks in the organization. Sometimes photographers send the pictures twice and I won't realize it and try to file them off into the same directory. They will have the same file name and PMVpro will just freeze. It doesn't freeze the whole machine because I'm able to close it from the TaskBar but it is irritating and I must either rename it or delete it before I can continue my work.

I just wanted to report this problem and hope a patch or fix is issued with the next upgrade or release. Thanks.

P.S. The one feature I like most about PMViewPro is the scripting thing. We have some departments that require photos be a certain size and the guy I worked with created a 'resize' script that will resize an entire directory of photos. Just wanted to tell you guys that feature saves me hours of having to resize each individual picture by hand. biggrin.gif
