If I launch both Pmview.exe (64-bit) and pmview32.exe (32-bit), then is there anything that will show me which one is which, just by looking at the application windows?

I normally use the 64-bit version, but my twain drivers require a 32-bit application, so I use pmview32.exe when scanning documents.

I've changed the shortcut icon for pmview32.exe to the scanner icon in shell32.dll, but that doesn't affect the icon in the pmview32.exe window.

If I accidentally click to expand "Homegroup" under Open->File (or ->Save for that matter). then PMView fails (as in "PMView PRO has stopped working")

I seem to recall that this started when I upgraded my home PC from an old XP system to Win7 Ultimate on a much faster system. I never had much use for "Homegroup" though. I'm just tired of clicking the wrong "+" and having to start from scratch again. Both x64 and x32 versions fail (3.75 right now)

I've registered this problem with Technical Support, but thought I'd ask here in case anyone has a workaround.

It is quite probable that I've not setup a "Homegroup", but having PMView fail is a bit extreme...

I wonder how many times I looked in Twain/Special without seeing it?

Thanks!

Hi Steve,
This option will be available in the next version!

Did this option make it? I don't see it in my PMView Pro 3.24

I've just upgraded from PMView 2000 to PMView Pro. If I drag a selection of multiple images onto the black background of the new PMView window it doesn't switch to a slideshow as PMView 2000 did.
Is there a way to get the old behaviour back, or is there some benefit in the new behaviour that I'm missing?

Is this a good place to make a suggestion/request?
I'd like an option to keep the icon displayed in the Windows taskbar the default PMView icon, instead of it being a thumbnail of the picture I'm viewing.
There are times when I don't want my wife/manager/dog to see what picture I've been looking at! biggrin.gif

When doing a "Paste as Selection", would it be possible to have the "Enter" key complete the paste? I found (by trial and error) that "Esc" completes the paste, but I would expect "Esc" to cancel the paste.
