I tried to get this working under wine (the Windows emulator). Would it be difficult to compile the code using the wine libraries directly?

Preliminary test shows that this works under Ubuntu 20.04, however, I'm an Ubuntu newbie.
I have used PMView for years on OS/2, eCS, ArcaOS.
