I run a dual monitor 4K Win11 setup. Both monitors run 3840x2160 at 150% scaling. I have them in Extended mode, making one big desktop. The speed button icons at the top of PMView are very small - something like 3/32" in apparent size. I really can't change Windows scaling as all my other applications work fine at the recommended 150%. Is there any chance of scaling the icons/speed button glyphs in some future release? I attached a screen shot, but it may look huge on a non-4K monitor. Thanks! |

Have you tested v3.82 screen shots on UHD displays (3840x2160)? I can get it to work at 100% scaling, but PMView clips the image if it is scaled to 150%. I need a magnifying glass to see the PMView controls at 100% scaling on such a monitor. :-) Never mind. I just found your post on how to cure the problem with Compatibility settings. Thanks! |

I have fixed the problem. PMView v3.82 will work correctly. Have you tested v3.82 screen shots on UHD displays (3840x2160)? PMView is a great product! I have been a licensed user for many years - all the way back to the OS/2 days. I use it almost daily. I have a dual monitor setup where the desktop spans the two monitors. I can capture the screen of the monitor PMView is sitting on, but I can't capture the opposite monitor. I tried straddling the two screens - no help. I tried capturing Area of Screen and the selection box won't allow me to straddle the two monitors - only the one PMView is sitting on. Is there some trick I am missing? I am using PMView Pro v3.80, 64-bit version on Win10 Pro-64. The monitors are set up for 1680x1050. The display adapter is a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I just upgraded to the latest version of PMView for Windows. It seems that I can no longer save to the desktop. If I click on the desktop folder in the file dialog and then save the current file, it gets dumped into the C: root directory. For a while I thought the files weren't getting saved at all, until I happened to look in the root directory. I am pretty sure I can save to folders on the desktop, just not on the desktop itself. Other than the save issue, its a great product! |
