What Windows version are you using?
How are you selecting the thumbnails? (Are you using the swipe select [mouse only], or CTRL/SHIFT + mouse click, or keyboard only?) When does the crash occur? Is it enough just to click on one file and then press CTRL and click on another? Does it crash the moment you release the mouse button? Can you easily repeat the problem, or was this just a one-time incident? If you can repeat it, please try to describe each step needed to repeat it. Nobody else has reported this, so obviously there is something peculiar about your system or the way you're trying to select the files. Hi Peter.
More details. Win/98 SE. FAT partition. 1024x768 resolution. PII/650. 265m ram. ASUS motherboard. Problem repeatable at any time. Swipe select. Click on 1st image then move mouse over 2nd image. Cursor appears to be arrow with shadow box underneath, no selection of second image, just crash. Keyboard only, SHIFT/cursor works OK. CTRL/mouse click works OK. - Al York |

Have you tried this on any other system? I am almost sure this is a display driver bug...
It works flawlessly here on my IBM Thinkpad 765D, Win98SE, 166MHz, 64MB RAM, FAT, 1024x768 Upgrading the display driver will most likely solve the problem. Have you already tried this?
