Hi,
Digital cameras can take pictures and short movies. In a slideshow it would be nice, if for movies for example *.avi a configurable application or cmd script could be called to display the movie (for example video2.exe or ffplay.exe - I'm talking about OS/2 here) . When the movie has ended pmview should continue the slideshow. What do you think about this? Franz Bakan |

I think this supports my request for a scripting solution which would be best done with REXX. But file formats like AVI or MPEG are not supported and therefore not part of a slideshow. Probably its easier to write a launching application which examines the contents of a folder and starts the appropriate programme. As PMView's slideshow format is not complicated those files could be created "on-the-fly".
