I Just downloaded the latest version and I cannot install it on my Windows95 laptop. The install program start. The "Welcome..." dialogue is displayed. When I press the "Next>" button, the program closes with no errors.
Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks, Harry. |

That is weird. It sounds like a problem in the WISE install program.
Possibly a DLL that Wise uses is missing on your system, or the installer file is damaged... I would suggest that you re-download the latest version. If that doens't help, then try installing it on another system and copy the installed files. That should work. Thanks Peter. I followed your suggestion, and I managed to install PMview with no problems.
Now, how can I determine what WISE is looking for that it cannot find? Thanks, Harry. |
