Hello Peter,
I have recently upgraded my system from NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 and have re-installed all of my programs including PMView2000. The problem is that I can't delete or rename new or existing folders from with-in the "file open" window. I've checked to make sure that I (the adminstrator) have full controll and all appears to be correct. The other copy of PMView2000 (which is on my old drive running under NT40) exhibits the same problems when running under Windows2000 but not when I start the computer running NT4. What am I missing? Thank You. Mark Field |

Mark, I just tried it here on Windows 2000 and it works flawlessly.
Try doing it in Windows Explorer. I'm pretty sure it will complain about the permissions as well. In this case you can rule out the possibility that the problem is in PMView. If Windows Explorer also complains, then the problem is in your setup. The most likely problem is that the permissions are not right. You should find a thorough explanation about the permission issues and how to change permissions in any good Windows 2000 book. ------------------ Peter Nielsen (peter@pmview.com) "If you can dream it, you can do it" JFK. -------------------- Peter Nielsen (peter@pmview.com) "If you can dream it, you can do it" JFK.
