Hi Mark, There is a 'Time Stamp' option available from the pop up menu when right-clicking on an image in the File Open dialog. By selecting "Time Stamp -> Set to time in EXIF information" the time stamp is set to the time in the EXIF information of the file. -- Thanks, Brandon |

PMView currently does not save the alpha channel. This would resolve the issue you are seeing and will be added in a future release of PMView. -- Thanks, Brandon |

From a previous forum post about this issue found using the forums search feature: QUOTE (Peter) Yes, this image size change is expected. It has to do with the "block size" of the JPEG encoding. This will occur if the image size is not evenly divisible by 16 (or sometimes 8). After our initial testing with PMView Pro on the new Windows Vista operating system, we have identified an issue with the menu bar controls that will cause PMView Pro to exit with errors. Peter will be working to create a Windows Vista compatible version as soon as possible. If you have tried PMView Pro on Windows Vista and identified other issues, please take a moment to post them here. Hi Al, Is the image all B&W? Are you saving the image between cuts/crops? If you have a smaller image that you can repeat this on, please send that along with a single step-by-step to repeat the issue to bugs (at) pmview (dot) com -- Brandon |

Hi Al, Is your system display only set to 256 colors? If so, see the help file for the "Preserve Color Depth" option under the Edit menu. Turning this option off should correct the issue. -- Thanks, Brandon |

Hi Steve, Yes, this option is available from the "Special/TWAIN" menu of the Preferences dialog. Un-check the option to "Dynamically change the PMView program icon" and the PMView icon will always be used. -- Brandon |

The limitations on file types allowed was a standard option during installation of the forum software for security reasons. I have added .png and .bmp to the allowed types, so now .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png and .swf flash are allowed.
