If PMView detects a file that has been UUEncoded or XXEncoded it will automatically decode the file. The decoding will be done transparently, thus it does not require a separate reading or processing step. This means that encoded files can also be displayed progressively if the graphic format in the file allows it (e.g. GIF, JFIF, PNG, etc.).
