Rotate

The functions in the Rotate menu are used to perform various rotation operations on the image data.

90 CounterClockWise rotates the image by 90 degrees to the left.

90 ClockWise rotates the image by 90 degrees to the right.

180 Upside Down rotates the image by 180 degrees.

Rotate by opens a control that lets you rotate the image by a specified angle.

JPEG Lossless 90 CounterClockWise rotates the image by 90 degrees to the left.

JPEG Lossless 90 ClockWise rotates the image by 90 degrees to the right.

JPEG Lossless 180 Upside Down rotates the image by 180 degrees.

Note that the JPEG Lossless functions are only available if the currently loaded image is in the JFIF file format. These functions operate directly on the file on disk and consequently do not need to decode the JPEG data, resulting in a lossless transformation. When the transform is finished, the image is automatically reloaded from disk and does not require further saving.
