Downloaded latest PMView Pro today and installed over the existing registered copy. The installer did not give me the option to enter my registration information. Uninstalled PMVP and reinstalled with the same result.
Am I missing something?

It sounds like you downloaded the demo version. You need to download the full version from http://download.bmtmicro.net
The product id and your personal download password are in the e-mail sent to you by BMT Micro when you registered PMView.
