Hi,

how do I get the color indices for a gif image. Is there a method in PMView? If not how do I calculate it.

Thanks

Stephan

The only way to get the color index is to choose Color->Edit palette. Then visually try to find the color you're looking for and try to change it to see if it's the right one.

Once you have found the color, you can "calculate" the index of it. The index order is:

0.........15
16........31
............
.........255

A future version of PMView will include a color picker that lets you do this more easily.
