I have a folder with about 1000 TIF files in it. Whenever I open the folder, the thumbnails begin to open and continue to load even after I select the thumbnail and leave the window with the thumbnails in it. Is there not some way to stop this loading? It sure drains the resources. I'm running PMViewPro on OS2 Warp.

You can close the window by clicking the [X] or pressing ALT-F4. That will stop thumbnail creation.

Other alternatives for fast access is of course to disable thumnail loading or use EA thumbnails that load much quicker (but the latter really eats disk resources, so I guess you don't want to go that route).

Thanks,
