Do I clean .... I have done once - about 5 months ago - I had some very strange effects during that process, missing folder content etc etc.

I have set the Option to not use the WPI APIs as you suggested.

In the main I use MrFilePM for all my file management and program/application launching for programs like EPM, PMView and only very rarely use the Drives process except for looking into the XFREE directory structure that has names starting with a period.

I will now see how it performs
Thanks for your help

Peter

I am getting strange WPS behaviour after using PMView on a directory of 70 files. Could this be due to a memory leak?

I have just been working in PMView on a directory of about 75 1.3mgb jpg files (all 5mgpixel images) I have either cropped and/or amended the density colour etc on about 50 of the files and
resaved the files to the same file name. I have been working by having the file open dialog for the directory open and using the arrow button to move to the next picture.

After completing the work, I closed PMView and reverted to Mozilla 1.41 - there was a lot of disk swapping.

However some workplace shell features do not appear to be working ie swapping between tasks - after re running PMView again the restriction has gone away.

This is the second time I have noticed the slow down and WPS misbehavour after a major PMView session with the current release of PMView - the previous occasion required a reboot to get the WPS to behave properly.

Any thoughts or comments

PMView crashes after I select File-Print, the print dialog shows for a very short while and then crashes. I do not get a chance to reset the printer to an available printer as the dialog is visible for a very short time.

I have been happily running PMView 3.02 (registered)
I downloaded 3.03 from my special BMT account

Prior to installing 3.03, the last time that I had been using 3.02 I had had it printing to a printer connected to another PC on my Peer to Peer network (File and Print sharing)
The printer being used was not the default printer.

Several days later I installed 3.03 (however the other machine was not connected)

I could start 3.03 but when I requested a print operation, PMVIEW crashed

I have now reinstalled 3.02 - I guess that to get 3.03 working I will have to ensure that the prior to 3.03 being installed I will have to have 3.02 printing to the default printer on the primary machine.

I have in the past never considered the need to have the PMView do a final print to the default home printer after printing via a remote printer.

Any comments etc - is this an expected outcome.

Thanks

Please will you describe the characteristics of the Unsharp filter - comparing it to the filter in say Gimp which has three settings Radius, Amount and Threshold. By adjusting the settings especially the Radius setting one can alter the strength of the filter.

What is the equivalent PMview settings.

Is it possible for the user to create a user defined unsharp filter and or do you have any plans to add a user customisable unsharp filter.

Thanks for PMVIEW
