PMView Pro Forums _ PMView - Windows Technical Support _ Versions

I am trying to get used to Windows 7 lunacy, but on it the current version of PMView keeps telling me I don't have permission to access pictures on backup drives (something I see every other minute under Win 7).

I discovered that older versions of PMView do not have this issue.

But the installer software, assuming there is some, is on the crashed computer. And I haven't been able to find an installer for an older version. Aren't these stored somewhere?

I can provide older versions if you e-mail me. However, first try to disable Windows thumbnail caching. If older PMView verisons work, that's probably the culprit.

Right click on the white area in the File Open dialog and set Thumbnail Provider->PMView Only. That will probably solve the problem if versions prior to v3.70 worked fine.
