PMView Pro Forums _ PMView - Windows Technical Support _ Capturing Widgets?

Posted by: Andreas Kieser Jul 26 2005, 11:46 AM

It may be possible that "Widgets" (or gadgets or whatever one may call them) get some more popular interest in the Win32-world since Yahoo! has bought Konfubulator and decided to give it away for free (http://widgets.yahoo.com/). While many people think of them as pretty pointless annoyances, some of those widgets are ..... hm .... neat cool.gif.

For the moment I'd like to screenshot a running widget. This can't be done with PMView (3.12) (as far as I can see). Looks as if widgets are running as a part of the underlying "XML"-desktop (or whatever) and PMView can't "see" them.

Any ideas?

Best,

Andreas

Oops - remembering standards .... rolleyes.gif

The notorious PrintScreen works for capturing.

Best,

Andreas
